about the service startup's time

I want make a image that an application run on it. The OS's boot time is
about 13-17sec. I modify the registry and let the application run after
boot, from boot to the application can run ,the time is about 1min.

I know when the Windows XP boot, not all the services have been startup
complete.Are there any method can increase the speed of the servces startup
time? And what's the time about the necessarily services startup?

Hi make sure that you don't have network support.
Or switch IP address assignment from DHCP to static IP addresses.
Or disconnect network cable. (It should do the trick).
Or provide DHCP server on network while testing.

Use MS bootvis for diagnostic purposes.
