Abnormal Program Termination affecting new software

I have just purchased and installed PhotoFX2 from Greenstreet Software. When
I try to use it I get an error message - the full message is:

Runtime Error:
Program: ...gram Files\greenstreet\Utils\Picture Browser\Browser.exe
Abnormal program termination

I have been to greenstreet's support and they eventually told me it was a
problem with my computer and I should have a health check done on the puter.
That would cost more than the software, and I'm not having the same problem
with other applications. So not knowing what to do now, here I am looking
for advice.

I might add that I had the PhotoFX2 program installed on my computer some
months ago and it worked fine, but I accidentally uninstalled it and had to
repurchase as I couldn't find my initial purchase details. It's a great
program and I really want to use it again.

The only change I have made since previously using the program is installing
Microsoft antispyware - whether that's relevant or not I don't know.

You can do the "health check yourself". Here are general instructions:

Once you have determined that your computer is clean and working well
with everything except the PhotoFX2 program, you can go back to their
tech support. If they can't help you (and if they continue to blame the
computer instead of their software that is a cop-out), you'll need to
find a different program to do what you want.

recommend I do?
