Abit KX333/XP2600+ and UDMA Problems...

Hi group!

I upgraded my Abit KX333 bios in order to use Athlon XP2600+ FSB266. I'm
running FSB 166 now (DDR, 333), but my system was quite unstable (screen
freeze) and first i thought that was memory.
Today I bouht 1 new stick of PC2700 Samsung 512mb, and still a lot of
freeze! I runned memtest and eventually I was able to complete a 100% test
with no freeze... with not a single error of memory!

Tonight, I found out that disabling UDMA mode in the bios make things a lot
better, I 've been running for more than 2 hours now and it seems ok.

Does anyone know if the change of the FSB of the mobo can bug the UDMA
mode??? I runned FSB133 before (XP1800+) and UDMA is 133, any connection?

thanks for any help or advices!

Did you resintall or repair windows, or did you just straight change the
motherboard and CPU?

I re-install everything, if i check udma in the bios, the system will freeze
