Hi,
I just purchased a Fatality AN8 Mainboard and a AMD 64 3200+ CPU to run on
it.
I am almost a total Newbie, so bear with me. I put the machine together and
powered it on.
The boards fan started, but the CPU fan didn't, the Post code read 8.7.(the
book tells me "check CPU voltage"). Then the boards fan stops , and thats
it.
Could any expert help? I would be really grateful for any help
Thanks

a 'total newbie' buys a board named 'fatality'. Yikes! who's marketing
genius was that I wonder?

All kidding aside:
your CPU is being detected properly?
you CPU fan is connected to the proper header(connector) on the board?
The cpu is properly seated AND the cooler is properly setup( in the correct
orientation to the cpu)?
All the pertinent connections that come from the Power supply are connected?

If your cpu fan doesn't start it will keep the rst of the system from
booting.

Did you reset the CMOS first?
