Hey all. I know, I know, "don't use frames". Well, I wanted to try this and see how it turned out. I made my template in photoshop(6) and made a 'new page' with frames in FP 2k3. I made the layout - Top - Left - Bottom - and middle. FP2k3 calls it "Header, Footer, and Contents. I made all the frame sizes exact to pixel of the image and removed all frame margins and borders. I unchecked the "Resizable in browser" option for each frame also. I want to be able to add buttons to the left navy bar, and have them target the middle frame. (i know, a given). I am getting 'gaps' between my frames, only when I Publish. When I look at 'design' and "preview" in Frontpage, it looks perfect. Only when I preview in browser or publish do I get this problem. To make this easier, I threw up the page for you to see

Consider using tables, and then inserting a IFrame in the area where you
want your links to open.

What you are trying to do can be accomplished, but it takes a lot of trial
and error. The amount of effort depends on if the images are page background
or inserted into tables and then trying to align across frames.

Here is an example I did back in 1998:
