I need to add an AAC file (itunes) to my powerpoint but powerpoint does not
recognize this format. Is there any way to import an AAC file into
Powerpoint?

Have you tried converting them to MP3 files?

You will need to convert the sound file into a different format (one that is
recognized by PowerPoint). I do not use Itunes, but I'm sure they use some
media management system, so you may have to have copy rights to the music.

If you can not find a direct conversion program, and may benefit from
burning the music to CD then ripping back to MP3/WAV/Etc.

Nope, I don't think so, but try rightclicking the tune in iTunes and choosing
Convert Selection to MP3. Then try bringing the MP3 into PPT.
