A7V8NX Lan Problems

I've installed XP Home numerous times. After running XP a few hours, my LAN
connection drops. The only way to get it to work again is to reinstall XP.

Any ideas I can try? I've installed the latest BIOS and LAN driver, but
that hasn't helped. I've already tried to do a local area connection
repair, but no dice.

After some further testing, there's no doubt my onboard LAN is pretty
flakey. Once I installed a PCI NIC and disabled the onboard LAN, everything
works great.

Is this a common problem with the A7V8NX mbs? Even with the latest LAN
drivers, there appears to be no fix. Any ideas???
