A7V600-Floppy drive does not work & Bios update with CD?

I have A7V600 with AMD

Problem 1:
My floppy drive stopped working. I see light always.
I tried new floppy drive also, even this does not work. I tried with 2 cables.
Symptoms:
When I click on A: in explorer, I get a message box saying "Insert floopy to A:"


Problem2:
I need to update the bios. Since my floppy drive is not working.
Can I do with the CD?

This all sucks..I need some helps

Usually if the light is on all the time, your cable is connected wrong.

Did you perhap put the floppy cable on backwards? That will cause this.
