A7V600 and Probe

My BIOS (cmos) reports the presents of 3 fans and reads as expected.
However, Probe and MBM5 both report failure of the 3rd fan in both WinME and
XPpro. It would seem to me that if the bios can see 3 of the sample ports
the system should also. Any one else experiencing something simular?
 
You may need to set the thresholds either higher or lower on MBM5 or
ASUS Probe to see your 3rd fan. BIOS has no such thresholds since it
direct reports, however, it can give you a starting point for software
adjustments if you're unsure of the RPM rating on the fan in question.
