A7N8X DX rev 2.0 Best driver for onboard sound?

I have two questions about my A7N8X DX rev2.0 mother board.

Two questions:
I have long since downloaded and installed the NForce2 all in one
driver for 1.16 for WinXP. Does this download offer the best most
up-to-date driver for my onboard Soundstorm sound? The driver is over
a year old (1/29/03) If this is not the best driver, could someone
please suggest where to look?

Flashing the bios for my mobo has allowed it to support the barton
3200 (2.2 ghz) chip. There hasn't been a flash update for a while.
Is there any chance faster CPUs will also be supported or is the 3200
the fastest CPU this mob will be able to support?

Thanks.

there is no faster CPU made for this board than the 3200. Actually AMD has
changed socket rev. and we are at the max. New board and processor is the
only way to go beyond what you currently have (if you have an XP3200). I
have the A7n8x-deluxe rev 2 with a Barton 2500 at 200x11 .I am running the
Nvidia Unified 3.13 drivers, but as to what driver is best I can not tell
you. My BIOS is Uber Bios 1007.

Most certainly not. It also doesn't offer you the most up to date drivers
for Ethernet, AGP (GART), Memory Controllers or SMBus.

The sound is integrated into the nForce chipset. Thus nVidia provide
drivers. The latest version is 3.13, check my FAQ for details. There have
been numerous updates since the 1.16 release (pretty much the first ever
nForce2 driver release, based on somewhere between 2.00 and 2.03 nVidia
drivers)
Flashing the bios for my mobo has allowed it to support the barton
3200 (2.2 ghz) chip.

It would have "supported" it before. It might not have said the right thing
on startup, but it would have worked.

Well find a faster Socket A CPU and I'll let you know. Good luck.
