a7n8x Deluxe with ATI 9600 Pro Video Card (hang problem with AGP 8x)

Hi,

I have bought an a7n8x Deluxe Rev 2.0 and planning buy an ATI9600 Pro (maybe
an All in Wonder) card for it. On the ATI website, there is a technical
issue where 3D applications hang. The problem is realted to settings the AGP
to 8x. For some reason on some boards with AGP 8x, the board behaves bad.

Does anyone have the same problem with their A78NX boards ??

Running a a7n8xDeluxe rev2.0 with an ATI 9600 pro and Omega Drivers without
any problems.

I have had that mobo & card (not AIW) running at AGP 8X for a couple of
months without any problems. For those who may have this problem, the
links you gave provide the solution - set the speed back to 4X.
