A2002: How do I get rid of multiple save?

I hate A2002 multiple save - it's quite dangenrous in some ways. How do I
get back A97 functionality? Ie. I've just made changes on one form so I want
to save only these specific changes and leave other forms open and
unchanged.

This "feature" really drives me crazy... as many others in A2002. grrrrrrrr

You can't (I don't think). Database objects in Access 97 were each saved as
individual binary objects in a system database table. All the objects in Access
2000 and newer are stored as a SINGLE binary object in a system table.

This helped avoid corruption, but introduced the monolithic save model. This is
also why Access 97 was the last version that allowed you to do design work while
others are in the same file.
