A unknown error has occurred

I am unable to empty deleted items in windows mail it keeps coming up a
unknown error has occurred. Has any one figured this out yet? Please let me
know it is driving me nuts.

Hi and you're not alone it seems a lot of people are having this problem and
its a known issue with Vista and their Windows Mail. There is a solution its
a hotfix with the number KB941090 so you need to go to Microsoft site and
find this patch and it will hopefully install and fix the issue. I say
hopefully as I had the issue with one folder containing saved messages and it
said it wasn't relevant to my system but thankfully once I deleted the folder
have never had the issue again. It says on the fix page that its for deleted
items but the fix works on all folders apparently.

Use this Microsoft fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090
Although it only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.
