a response batch file

Jeff

I recall from my DOS days that one could create a batch file to do this -
not that I remember how! I wonder if it is possible under XP Home.

This is for a child's PC. One of the programs is an old one that when it
starts says
"this is an incorrect windows dll file. Do you wish to continue"
to which the child is supposed to answer Yes (Y).
Then it asks if she wishes to re-install it, to which the correct answer is
No (N).
Then the program continues and works uneventfully.

Is there a way to automate the answers so that when the child clicks on the
desktop shortcut, it goes past all these questions (which are answered
automatically) and just starts up?

How?

Thanks.

Hi Jeff:

The way you wrote your post leads me to believe you are dealing with a
pre-Win98 program? is it set up on DOS VM?

Yes (Y) No (N)
