A Quick Behavior Experiment

Jon Spivey

Hi,
Many of us have used layers and behaviors in FP2003 to build dropdown
menus - it's an easy technique but can be somewhat tedious. I read an
article about creating new behaviors on MSDN today that gave me an idea for
a behavior to make menu building quicker, download and a tutorial are here
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/jonspivey/Behavior/Tut/

Comments welcome - I may well develop it further.

Done - thanks. I think it was you who posted the link in the first place -
excellent article. Took me about 20 minutes to write that behavior, starting
from zero knowledge, so safe to say they're pretty easy :)

Pretty slick Jon.
Even though I sheepishly admit I tried to do it in FP2002 first.
I then opened the same web folder in 2003 and it was much easier.

And if anyone is wondering, FP2002 and FP2003 "play" very nice together when
being run on the same machine at the same time.
;-)
