A Program for Operating from One Win to Another Win PC?

I can't recall the name of some program freely available on the web that
would allow me to see and run another Win PC on another part of my local
network. VGN? GBN? As I recall, it was three letters.

Apparently not. I searched my machine(s) for it and didn't find it. I'm sure
I downloaded the program a year or so ago.
