A new component creation

Hello,

I'm a beginner with XPe and Component creation. I want to create an
Hauppauge Nexus-s DVB component.
I saw some threads about that (Nvidia component for example).
I tried to create the component, but i have some diffiiculties to create it
correctly (problems with registry data or resoruces)
My questions :
does a tutorial or an howto exist for component creating ?
Can some one send me a simple component creating example ?
