i some times throughly research on internet and at the end
of session i have bunch of websites that i have added to
my favourtie folder. Normally what i do , is that i copy
the folderX ( going in C Drive, documnets& Settings, All
userr, Wasif, Favourtie, FolderX - copy it) and paste it
in my D drive but it quite a hassel to do this, because
lots of time i have formatted the C Partition and nothing
left.

What i Want:
* I want windows to make a back up folder of my Favourtie
in D Drive
* also i want it save, only links that i visited today.
* alos i have to sometimes write the whole 30 weblinks
that }i have visited today , IE should have option to let
us copy those links as Text and paset in Word File so that
you can print it for your use.

I use windows XP Proffesional

GOOD DAY
BUT MR. Henri Leboeuf DONT YOU THINK ITS QUITE AN HASSLE
TO do what you have told if i have several folders it will
take me an evening worth of effort , there should be a
better solution, the solution should be windows based not
MS-Dos based as we are in the era of GUI rather then the
black screen, it should be few-click solution. rather than
a like a doctors prescription , it takes an expert eye to
read all the article and apply it. i am sure new users
would surrender on the instant they saw the knowledge
based article

please keep me updated
thanks again Wasif Khan

It is simple, when you are at the web site you want to save just copy the
address to the clipboard and paste to note pad. Save as you like.

the solution should be windows based

You could use XP's Search Companion.
Press Win-F. Enter %USERPROFILE%\Favorites\*.URL
Modified Date: Today

You could create a Desktop shortcut which would save this search
as a template. (You would probably have to modify the date each time.)
You could save the results of the search as a .fnd file.

Hmm... apparently by default SC's Save Search feature doesn't work
the way NT4's Find Files did. But there is a registry override which can
make it work. See Steven Liu's tip here:

Alternatively, use IE's Import/Export Wizard (Alt-F,I) and copy and paste
from its bookmark.htm
