A Good Freeware Checking Account Manager?

Does anybody know of a freeware checking account manager. Would like it to
be like an ordinary check book.

Slightly off topic but relevant.

I've used Quicken for years. After installing service pack 4 for Windows
2000 my Quicken was dead. This totally killed my online banking. My bank
has its own online banking service but it won't produce a nice Quicken like
ledger. So I figured that if I could find a decent freeware to produce a
ledger I could use that and then simply post my transactions to the bank.

Tried several as listed by Susan. I settled on Panda Money. It's not
perfect but it get's the job done. A very nice freeware.

program - I read that as "Pandy Monkey".

I like "Panda Monkey".

I'd probably use a program named "Panda Monkey".
