A Function for Counting Since Last Time

I am looking for a function that will find a number and then count how
many times it has gone by since the last time it was called. If you
need a work shee let me know and I will post it.

Find the number where or in what. Called where or by what...?

You can send me the work sheet. I am not quite clear what exactly you
need.

I guess "COUNTIF" function might help.
