I have a few questions about 2007 that I hope someone doesnt mind
answering.... I notice that in 2007 I cannot seem to select more than
one text box at the same time and change the paragraph formatting. I
used to be able to do this easily in the earlier versions of
powerpoint. Anyone know what I'm missing here?

Also, I notice that the in the paragraph before/after selction when I
click up or down it always goes up or down in 5 pt increments. I
prefer 1 pt increments. Is there a way set powerpoint 2007 so that the
up/down arrows change in 1 pts as opposed to 5 pts?

Thanks very much to anyone who has any insight. I hope to be of help
to someone else in this group should the opportunity ever arise.
PowerPoint 2007 has a pretty steep learning curve I have found but I
am getting used to it (somewhat).

thanks!

Ditto what Steve said. I can format more than one at the same time. How are
you trying to access the paragraph formatting? Try the dialog launcher on
the Paragraph group on the Home tab of the ribbon. (The dialog launcher is
the little square in the lower right corner of the group.)

I wish. I hate hate hate this dialog. It's a leftover from Word, where 5 pt
increments might make sense. They don't in PPT.

By the way, if you want to apply, say, a .9 linespace to your text, use the
Line Spacing: Multiple option and type 0.9 in the "At" box. That' one's not
very obvious at all.
