A/D New Users

I would like to creat an A/D test lab and add five to six
hundred users or more but without the manual processes.
My question is do you know of a script or a tool that will
creat five or six hundred users for me automatic.

Stephen,

You might want to try to script this. However, I can also offer you a
couple of ideas: addusers.exe, ldifde and csvde.

Addusers will allow you to make use of a .txt file ( and the ability to
include passwords ) and csvde will allow you to make use of an Excel
spreadsheet ( properly formatted and in .csv format ).

If including passwords is important you might want to consider using
addusers and then going behind this with ADModify ( a previous version can
be found on the Microsoft ftp site or I can e-mail you the most recent
version ) to fill in the empty fields that you might want populated.

I have no care for who the user is and or the users
password I just need away of creating the five or six

Then you might want to consider scripting.

ldifde might help you ( as you can export the current users from your
existing domain to a .ldf file and then import that .ldf file into your test
lab ) as the other two methods require some manual labor.

There might be a couple of other solutions for you as well. Take a look at
Brian Desmond's web site as it has a good article on how to take a DC out of
your production environment and create a test lab. I do not have the link
right now but I know that several other people have mentioned this link.

create N user accounts. If you like, you can add an password so it's not
empty:
