a couple false positive

1) I wouldn't consider eMule, Kontiki and Messanger Plus as adware. I'm
pretty sure that neither of these programs contain any bundled adware (you
can choose with Messenger Plus not to install the search bar).
For those who don't know Kontiki is the download manager from Gamespot.com
(I'm sure other legal download websites use it too) and eMule is a
file-sharing program based on the edonkey network.

2) AntiSpyware detected eMule as Edonkey2000. However they are two different
programs. eMule is made by third-parties and does NOT contain any
adware/spyware unlike the official client from Edonkey2000.

Messenger+ does have adware bundled in, but you can state
not to load it - but that's NOT the default.

In the latest versions of the installer option is ticked or checked by
default, and this has been the case for several months now.

On what do you base this information? I just tried the
latest version, there is no default option checked.

In fact:
- First there is a screen about the adware bundle,
the "next" button is disabled for a few seconds while
this screen is displayed to ensure the user will notice
this message and won't press next witout looking at all.
- After that you go to the secreen where you dicide if
you want to install the adware bundle with it, or just
Messenger Plus! alone. You can't press the "next" button
here until you made your own choice and there isn't one
of the options checked by default. Both of the options
clearly state that they will either install Messenger
Plus! with or without the sponsor. And the sponsor
agreement above that tells the user what the adware
bundle, called "sponsor program" in Messenger Plus! does.

Yes, if you press the <SPACE> button during that screen
the first option will be selected. This is just how using
Windows with your keyboard works. 90% of the people will
use their mouse to make a choice anyway. And even if you
do press space during this screen you will still need to
press the "next" button after it to confirm this choice.

I don't see how there is a default choice about the
sponsor in Messenger Plus!. It may have been there in the
past, but Patchou (creator of Messenger Plus!) recently
made these changes to keep his user from accidental
adware installs.
