A challenge for Advanced Exceller-sum with criteria and text

This is a toughy...I am trying to sum a column in one spreadsheet based on 2 criteria and put the result in another spreadsheet where the criteria are. Normally I would use a sumproduct...but this time one of the criteria is text names...but the two spreadsheets do not have the names exatly alike(thought one does contain the name within the rest) sample below:

Is there anyway to do isolate the info and sum according to that instead looking up the whole cell? Thank you very much.

SP1 Column 1 (column2 trying to sum)
Visions (52) 6
Visions Winnipeg 2

SP2 C1 C2
Visions (result of product of Column2 in SP1 for both entries)
