97 database crashing

I have an Access 97 Database with about 10 tables (this is my data).
have built a 97 and 2000 database that uses linked tables to that data
There are about 10 people that use either the 97 or 2000 off th
server. They all have shortcuts on their desktops and the database (97
with the data is on the server as well. The problem is that about onc
a week the main table (on the 97 database with the data) is gettin
corrupted and when I try to run a repair it crashes and is gone.

Any comments or suggestions

I am not sure what you mean by the database "crashes and is gone". Do
you mean the data is deleted, or do you mean the mdb file disappears?

In any case, the way you are doing it is not recommended. Each user
should have their own copy of the "frontend" application file on their
local machine, all of which link to the backend tables in the database
on the server. This would be the first step I would recommend to try to
sort things out.
