8mm film on a VHS

I inported a VHS tape that has a 8mm film on it... They used a camcoder, and
recorde the 8mm film from a projector and puched recorde on the cmacorder...
Is there anyway I can make a fram lighter? Or since the 8mm was dark I cant
change it?

You can select Tools...Video Effects from the menu and select the
"Brightness, Increase" effect and drag it down to your clips on the
timeline/storyboard.
