8mb limit partition

Anyone know of any known bugs in XP that limit you to
create a new partition using either all available space
or 8mb or less, when using disk mngt? I have 20gig used
and have 60gig of free space left, but I can't create
another partition unless it is all or 8mb or less?

You can only create a new partition if you have "unallocated" space using
XP's "DiskPart" utility. In other words, once you have created a partition,
you cannot go back and create another partition within that partition. Only
a sophisicated third-party program, such as Partition Magic, can accomplish
this once Windows XP is installed.

This is not a "bug", but a limitation of Diskpart's capabilities.
