i got win. xp-home , p-4 3.00GHz processer. do i have a 32bit or a 64bit?

There is no 64-bit version of WinXP Home; s you have a 32-bit operating
system. Can't speak to your computer's hardware capabilities, as you
didn't provide any pertinent information, such as the make/model of the
motherboard or CPU.

At a guess with info supplied -
Your Mobo is 875p chip supporting the P4 CPU and I know supports dual
channel architecture.
However you say you have a P4 3.0Ghz which at a guess, would be a Prescott
478 socket - which
I doubt it has Extended Memory 64 bit Technology.
You do not have a 64 bit OS either - wait for Vista or get XP PRO 64bit.
