64 bit Vista will not install with more than 2 megs of memory installed.
Must install extra memory after installation.

Huh? Windows Vista 64 bit will accept a minimum of 512 MBs.

I take it the 2 megs you refer to should read 2GB? I haven't seen any
reports of Vista 64 not installing on systems with more than 2GB of RAM. In
most cases the 64 bit machine has usually been set up with a minimum of 4GB.
However, what exactly are you seeing when you install with more than 2GB?
What error messages are appearing?

In other Newsgroups here, a lot of people have found that with 64bit, it is
better to install with only 2GB of RAM.

All you have to do is install the rest of the RAM after you have done a
successful installation of Vista.

You are NOT the only one with this problem.
