64bit installation

I installed Vista 32bit not realizing at the time that I was going to upgrade
and would need/want the 64bit edition. Can I use a friend's install disc
with my activation code to fix this problem?
If this is not feasible/possible, does anyone know where I can get the 64bit
installation?

Dave:

AFAIK, Vista 32 and 64 bit Product Keys are the same, so if you have
your own key why don't you just install the 64-bit version using your
friend's disk?
