Try to check the left hand column of Gmail Inbox screen, you should have
some like "Invite Friend to join ..."

Yes, you should have it unless you ran out of invites.
But now Gmail has change the interface. The invites is some on top as a
toolbar, check it out.
It should has wording something like "Invite 6 friends to join ...".
