571 Remote sending only allowed with authentication!

Im using Outlook 2k3 and poping mail. When working offline I compile a new
mail and then hit the send button. Later I will connect to the internet and
then all the messages in the outbox will send. Shortly after sending them I
will receive a undelivered message saying the following;

571 Remote sending only allowed with authentication!

SMTP authentication is enabled. The message size are a few KB.

How do I fix this?

You have to set up your SMTP server to use your ISP's authentication.
If you are trying to send messages using your ISP's SMTP server and
are not using your ISP's connection, that is the problem.

Thx for the reply. The mailbox and authentication is set up to use the smtp
server of the isp and the isp's dial up is being used to send those mails.

That doesn't solve my problem.
