does anyone know why i get this when i send a message? i have norton anti
virus but i turned it off for outgoing messages so it cannot be that. it
seems to happen intermittently.

This error often means you're attempting to use an outgoing (SMTP) email
server that does not belong to the ISP you're connect to. Most ISPs will
not allow this because of the very heavy use Spammers make of such an "open
