One minute I could use by Outlook 2003 as normal and then all of a sudden
when I send an email I get this message immediately.

550 5.7.1 <@m>... Relaying denied: You must check for new mail before
sending mail.

I did not upgrade or change anything. It just suddenly started giving me
this message for anyone that I try to send an email to.

This just started happening to us as well. I have found others on the
web with the same problem. Type in "550 5.7.1 Relaying denied: You
must check for new mail before sending mail". Still trying to solve

You need to set your authentication to the incoming server in your account settings.

The problem may be common, but the solutions probably are not. Your posting
IP address says, "CenturyTel". Your solution probably lies with CenturyTel.
