It appears I am running a 8x AGP card on a 4x Board, will this cause any
problems or will the card just run at 4x?

I dont think u can run a 8x AGP card in a 4X board. 8x
AGP cards are longer in size.

I'm running it now :)

Also I believe a TRUE 8X card runs at either .8 or 1.2 volts and all 4X's
run at 1.5 volts

I'm doing the same thing. The latest cards are 4X/8X, they are AGP2 and
AGP3
compliant. both are 1.5volt

Mine isn't. I took out a Ti4600 (2x4x) and put in a FX5900 (4x8x).
The
cards are the same dimensions. Fan and heatsink make it thicker. The
length of the two cards is the same.

It'll just run at 4x. If you had a problem, you'd know about it by now.
The only compatibility issue with AGP cards is whether they are 3.3v or
1.5v, and you have to have a really antique AGP card to even trip over
that one these days.

btw, the performance difference between AGP4x and AGP8x is not worth
mentioning .. barely detectable, even with the best benchmarks, so don't
worry about it.
