4 svchost.exe running at the same time.Why?

When I click Ctrl+Alt+Del I see that the proccess svchost.exe is running 4
times on my computer.Why is this happening?

Windows is not able to show all different processes with theire own names.
So it use the svchost for different dll files. Look here:

In Operating systems higher than 2000 you also can type in a command prompt:

tasklist/svc | more

This will show you all processes with the Process ID
