I got 4 columns in All Programs and can't get to the 4th column. How do I
get to that 4th column or rearrange them so I can?

Thanks,
Don

I mean click Start > ALL Programs I have 4 columns, the 4th column is only
slightly visible. How do I rearrange the columns to access all of my files?
Thanks,
Don

Don,

Go into Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, under Start Menu, select Customize.
Under Advanced Options, select Scroll Programs. That will give you a single
column list of All Programs that you can scroll thru. Right click on the column
and select Sort by Name, might make things a bit easier.

Of course, with that many columns of icons, you really ought to organise your
Programs a bit. Scrolling thru 4 columns smashed into one long list sounds like
a pain. Good luck.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Thanks,
If it isn't too complicated, just how does one organize "All Programs"?

Right click start and select explore. Open up the programs folder and
arrange shortcuts into folders any way you like. Do the same with the all
users programs folder. What you see displayed on the start menu is a
combination of your user programs folder and the all users programs folder.

Thank You all, that helps me a lot.

Don, you can also rename the folders/files to shorter names.

The column width is determined by the longest name. 1 program I have is "Stamp Collector's Data Base for Windows", it became "SCDB for Windows". You can rename any shortcut - right click on it | select rename.
