3d Pinball Space Cadet with Vista

Does anyone remember the 3d Pinball Space Cadet game that came on the plus
disk for Windows 95 or Windows NT4.0? I can get everything to work including
music, but not the sound effects (no sound at all). Anyone have any idea's?
I have checked Microsoft's web site & google but none of the recommendations
seem to work.

I forgot to mention I am using the 32 Bit of Vista on an acer aspire M5100
with 1gb of ram & a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30 Ghz.
