Hi everyone

I use the 3Com VPN firewall client on my PC. Everything worked well until i
installed SP2. I did everything mentionned on the 3Com web site. Even 3com's
technical support is not able to help me.

When i try to connect to the vpn, it gives me an Internet Explorer Script
Error on line 977. I did check the line 977, it refers to WMI. I unregistered
wbemsvc.dll and wbemupgd.dll. When unregistered i can connect to the VPN but
am unable to use it. If i re-register these two dll, the error message pops
again.

Anyone as an idea...

Thanks

Have you considered removing and re-installing the VPN client? Solved my
problem with another VPN client (not 3COM.)

I use the Cisco VPN, uninstalling/reinstalling seemed to be the only way to
get it working after SP2.

Thanks guys

Did this (reinstallation) numerous time. Even downloaded the client agin
from the 3Com web site.

The weirdest thing is that we have two other computer that use the 3Com
client without any problem... They have XP with SP2 as well.
