Oh dear, well seeing Iam new to Windows Mail, bombarding you with silly
questions - SORRY in advance :(

After setting up my email account with windows mail using my talk talk email
address, for some reason when I'm posting messages to your help forum, it is
showing my MSN email address.

What is happening here?

I've checked all the info via Tools, Accounts, and it only shows my talktalk
email??

Once again, Thanks & Sorry in advance.

Denise

Go to Tools > Accounts > Select your news group account in "NEWS" >
properties > change your e-mail address in the "E-mail address" window.
Also if you would please turn on your option to compose your responding
message with the previous thread attached: Go to: Tools > Options >
Advanced and check "Compose reply at bottom of the original message".
Everyone will appreciate this since they will see what you have been talking
about.

When posting to newsgroups, it displays what you entered in the Properties
for Microsoft Communities.

Tools - Accounts - Microsoft Communities - Properties

It's best to use a fake email address for these groups, so your real address
doesn't get added to the spammers lists.

The second option that Bob mentioned affects only the relative
placement of a reply with respect to quoted text (if any). Frankly,
most posters in Microsoft newsgroups are top posters because
that is the default for Microsoft news readers and email clients.

The actual quoting of the original message is done here:
Tools, Options, Send, "Include message in reply"
