I currently use Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002
(version 5.1 - service pack 1) and was wondering if this
version is "32-Bit" or "64-Bit", or how I can determine
how many bits my version is.

Start -> Run...
winver
Unless you see "64 bit" in that window, you have the 32 bit version
