32 bit color

Unable to set 32 bit color with Display. Currently at 24
bit color. I have tried all the common solutions....
used microsoft HELP. Any suggestions?

Unlikely you will see the difference, however..

So you have the latest driver for your video card downloaded and installed
from the manufacturer web site?

Why make your computer work harder for nothing, use 16 bit that will give
you 65K + colors and I don't think humans can see beyond that.

Have you uninstalled your video and rebooted...?
 
this is a video driver issue, not a windows issue. if you're running the
default driver that shipped on the xp cd, go to the video card manufacturers
website and download the newest driver from there.
 
The resolution and color depth is a function of your video card. Has nothing
to do with Windows.
