Interesting on Intel Core Extreme & Quad CPU's.
Seems it's the next big thing to have not much use unless your a Cruncher though!

the new 45nm intels sound very interesting

i read on bit tech they got up to 4.2Ghz iirc with no real hassle, granted it was an ES but thats impressive

It seems that CPU speeds in unclocked CPU's have peeked at around 3GHz.
