I recently bought a 3 oem Xp pro software, they came inside the little blue
manual for oem software, but the actual cd is an E85-02839. Now, the key for
all of the tree is the same. My question is if this is legal, and if it would
be ok to install this software in 3 new computers. Would I have to activate
Xp if i use this cds?

I forget to say also that no COA stocker was added in each oem package.
Any Suggestions?

If you bought Windows and did not receive a COA then I would call
1-800-R-U-LEGIT and verify that you were not sold knock-offs.

If they prove legitimate, then yes, you can install the same license on
three computers, assuming you paid for the licenses.

OK, what you mean for knock-offs? You mean pirated license keys?
What should i say when i call?
and I did pay for these tree oem xp like if i bough the licenses, so please
advise.

Hi Bastianber,

The difference between a pirate key and a knock-off is that you usually know
when you are pirating, but with knock-offs someone took the time to forge a
license to deceive you.

You will not be in any trouble when you call, and if you want you can do so
anonymously. What you should tell them is that you purchased these licenses,
and a Microsoft Certified Professional in this newsgroup suggested you should
call to make sure your product is legit. If it is they will tell you and
that will end it. If it is not they will ask you where you purchased it and
some other questions. I assure you they will not be targeting you, rather
the one who deceived you (however har back up the distribution chain it goes).

Good luck and let me know how it goes!

A true Volume License is something that you have to sign up for, and
starts at 5 machines. Also all legitimate CDs will have holographic
surfaces, all over. This sale is not remotely within that, and the
Product Key is probably pirated

OK, I called microsoft and they told me that the key was valid so it would be
ok to install, however they told me that i have should receive only one cd
and one key,(but i received 3 cd with same key) and with that it would be ok
to install in the amount of computer that i intended. Now, they said that if
i bought the license, then everything was ok, however, i do not know if i
actually bought it, i know the license is the same that the product key, but
that fact does not mean that the key is good. so at the end microsoft said to
call the place where i bought and to ask if what i bought was the
license, which i did and they dont know....so i ended up just asking for a
refund, now i'll have to wait. Thank you for your help.
