3.8 slow desktop!

Damn, every other release screws up the desktop, my start menu is
SLLLLLOOOOOWWW again. Ugh..

I had the same problem with my 9800pro. Turns out it installed two separate
video devices, and the problem fixed itself when I disabled the secondary
one in device manager. As I don't use multimonitor support that's not a
problem for me.
