I know that ^p finds each paragrah but I want to ignore the first paragraph.

Thankyou.

A macro can locate the second paragraph easily enough. What, more precisely,
do you want to do? And in which version of Word?

Hello Cindy from Steved

Word 2003

When found I am going to type a name at the end of the second paragraph.

I have 600 paragraphs so having a macro to find every second would be just
what I reqiure.

Thankyou.

I'm a bit confused. You talk about "THE second paragraph", and then turn around
and say "every second". In your original post you do something similar ("I want to
ignore the first paragraph").

Could you please be more precise: do you need the second paragraph, or all the
"even numbered" paragraphs?
