2nd install xp

After building a 2nd XPhome pc, my older pc has the same serial/product key
as the newer one.
I have ordered replacement XPhome sp2 software.
How do I (replace or change or update) this older pc's operating system with
the newly purchased
XP so that it is in conformation with the EULA ?
Or is just owning a 2nd copy of XP all that's really needed ?
