2nd hard drive

ok heres the run down. i had to reformat my computer.. now for the fun stuff. i have a 160 gb hard drive i store all my programs, pictures and music ect... and i have the main 20gb hard drive that my os is on (XP). after the new install of XP i ran all the windows updates and stuff, but it wont access the 2nd (160gb) hard drive. every time i try to open it it tells me i need to reformat it. i really dont want to do that because i have like 10gb of music videos and pics i cant replace. any one know hoto access the drive?

any info is greatly appreciated

Hi,

How was the drive originally installed? If you used a drive overlay (setup
software that came with the drive), you will likely need to reinstall it in
order to access it.
