250GB system drive problem

Hi Folks,

I just did a clean install of WinXP Pro on a new computer which has
two 250GB HDDs. I understand why it partitioned the HDDs as only
131070. After installing SP2, I was able to increase the partition on
the D: drive to the full size of the disk by using the Extend command
of the Diskpart utility. This won't work with a system drive,
however. How do I increase the C: drive partition to the full size of
the disk?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Boot your system using WinPE or BartPE, then run diskpart and extend the
system volume.
