208MB .pst has: NO DATA?????

How can I have a 208MB pst file that opens and has one folder:
"Deleted" and no visible data?
I used the corrupt/repair method of attempting to recover some deleted
data. In this method, you use a hex editor and delete positions 7
thru 13 of the pst file; then you run scanpst (Inbox repair tool) and
it rebuilds it for you. This has worked just fine in the past.
Today, I have a 208MB mail pst with no data. How can I get it back,
with all the many folders I had created for sorting my many email
sources?
I am on XP SP1, with Outlook 2002.
Any help?
Thanks
Jeff

Make sure Outlook is not pointing to another pst file by
the same name. Search for all occurrences of your pst
file. If you find more than the one with 208MB of data,
rename those (.old). Outlook should then prompt you for
the location of your archive (pst) file.
